Well today I went for a lovely 15 mile bike ride up into the South Downs- absolutely glorious, views down over the Solent, a close encounter with a Buzzard, and a nice combination of a headwind on the way out, and a tailwind on the way home. The only downside was a small number of moronic car drivers who seem to think that 2 centimetres is sufficient clearance when passing a bicycle.
Then came home and watched last night's "Borgen", which is quite outstanding television. Just about to settle down with the Sunday Times.
Of course, my Sundays are rather different when the Formula One season is up and running!! Only 60 days to go until the Australian Grand Prix!!Patriotism is supporting your country all the time, and your government when it deserves it.

No particular routine except sorting and putting out recycling for collection tomorrow - Sunday is a lazy day in Winter. R3 goes on first thing and stays on, at least until after the repeat of CE. Finally get round to reading yesterday's Times and make a start on the jumbo crossword, various emails and phone calls, tidy up kitchen. Will have a look at the new PG Wodehouse on tv, perhaps Antique Roadshow, and finish the book I'm reading. Usually early night in preparation for Monday. Generally just a relaxing day.

Today has been/will be fairly typical. Up, breakfast, choir practice at 10.30 and church service afterwards. Lunch with miss m who also sings, either at mine, at hers, or out. (It was at mine today.) Catch up here. Later I'll watch Wodehouse and "Borgen", then it's music on CD.
I used to do the "early Sunday night, Monday tomorrow" routine, but my regular late shift (11.30 - 20.00) at work was moved to a Monday two years ago, so it no longer applies.

Student level carpet cleaner needs inventing also.I will not be pushed, filed, stamped, indexed, briefed, debriefed or numbered. My life is my own.

No two ever the same.
But sitting here with Debussy playing and a pot of tea does very nicely for now.
On Sundays I get up out of my shoebox at twelve o'clock at night, and LICK the road clean wit' tongue. Then I eat half a handful of freezing cold gravel, work twenty-four hours at the mill for fourpence every six years, and when I get home, my Dad slices me in two with a bread knife.
