Does anyone else click on GUEST'S on the links ?

Boards seeming a little fraught and boring I found a wonderful thread about James Bolam and various programmes I had almost forgotten - 'When the Boat comes in', 'The Beiderbeck Affair' and others. Posts from Chris Newman, SHB and others.

Are boxed sets of th above series still available I wonder?

Yes - Acorn Media have a big catalogue of older and more recent TV drama - inc 'Boat' http://www.acornmediauk.com/when-the...-complete.html

I found it by typing Bolam into the box at the top right where it says 'search entire store here'.

(btw not sure what you mean in the title of the thread by 'clicking on GUEST'S on the links'... )
"...the isle is full of noises,
Sounds and sweet airs, that give delight and hurt not.
    Sometimes a thousand twangling instruments
Will hum about mine ears, and sometime voices..."

        Saly

I had the Beiderbeck set for Christmas a few years ago - a wonderful series, humour, subtlety and great acting. They don't seem to do that combination anymore. The links below may help.

Intriguing. My Quick Links offers five choices, but none of them are Current Posters or Guests. Have I been disenfrachised?

An automated spider is usually from a search engine. BingBot is Microsoft's version, I think to replace eventually, MSNbot (bot being short for 'robot'). Without search engines, things can't be found on the internet. It includes Google and Yahoo.
It isn't given us to know those rare moments when people are wide open and the lightest touch can wither or heal. A moment too late and we can never reach them any more in this world.
