        with all the discussion about power use, carbon emissions, etc, christmas gets a rather easy ride, what with the lights on folks houses, and the environmental calamity of all that foil wrapping paper and plastic stuff people get given as presents.

        The same might be said for installation art. Though some of the houses round my way closely resemble overly ambitious installation art from now till February.
