Why on earth does a Prime Minister allow an utter fool to continue as his education secretary. Even the appalling Kenneth Baker wasn't a complete idiot.

Two possible reasons spring to mind. Either Gove knows where the PM's bodies are buried, or the PM's an utter fool also. The same could be said of the egregious Osborne, and indeed most of the Cabinet.
