The bloke getting 'platformed' hasn't been 'floored', though. Surely you have to hit the 'canvass/deck' to be 'floored'?

Interestingly it gives a slightly (very slightly, I should say, to be accurate) different nuance to the word 'stationed'. The train was stationed (albeit imperfectly) but not platformed. For me, at any rate, it creates a different mental picture.
