Now, why didn't I think of that? Can't you just picture the re-branding meetings for Team GB? I worked for 30 years in an organisation that re-branded itself every five years or so. Lots of time and money spent on calling things by different names, with no significant change underneath it all.

I have a real dislike of the names of things changing because some rich person has donated some money
At the RFH the Ballroom is now the "Clore Ballroom" at the ROH the Floral Hall is now the "Paul Hamlyn Hall"
Speke airport is another case

Indeed - but were it ever to become flooded, would that make it the water troubled overbridge?
