Which information of course neatly sidesteps any indication of when it will actually be moved in your direction...I had this with DHL recently when waiting for my new sound system. They were keen to keep telling me that, in effect, it had been put on the floor in some despatch warehouse in the wee small hours, but info as to when I could expect to see the van outside my house was a much more last minute affair, which I almost missed.

On the Berliner Philharmoniker website it included a review of Paavo Järvi conducting Brahms and Lutosławski that appeared in Der Tagesspiegel. The last section read:

“With verve and masterly aplomb, Järvi knows how to electrify the Berliner Philharmoniker.”

Ouch, that sounds dangerous! Why didn't someone turn at electricity off at the mains?
