What bit don't you like? For me, it's the 'care' bit, mainly. But oh, to actually be treated like a customer would be wonderful.

Obviously it's a misprint for customers care.

                (Or, even, customer scare )

I wouldnt want to be treated the same way that BT treat their customers , for instance.

The unwise and inelegant suffix -wise, despite its centuries of use. It just seems such lazy use of language.

Much-loved of weather forecasters: weatherwise and temperaturewise.

That's the problem when specialist vocabulary seeps into general usage. You wouldn't want them to dumb down, would you?

Again, a technical term for a specific type of pork pie (the Melton Mowbray type). Nothing to do with 'hand crafted'.

                          A sort of Svengali act?

Back in the day we didn't say 'Back in the day'.

Actually, that's a phrase I rather enjoy (and use far more than I ought!) - combining regret and mock-pomposity, it's perfect for communicating an affectionate, self-mocking sense of the loss of one's youthful vigour.
