I have it on good authority that one of our distinguished trio of current bicentenerians didn't approve of Thursdays in principle; now which one of them it may have been and/or for what reason/s I am perhaps wisely loath even to contemplate, although the French for that day might possibly offer a kind of clue to some...

Things might have changed in this Millennium.A quick Musical-Google aka iTunes Store threw up quite a few songs called Thursday...can't vouch for the musicality or the sanity of the lyrics, mind!

I'm really excited as I have three days off in a row starting on Friday following a period of sustained work.
You really can't enjoy music when you're so tired.

Loads of songs with Thursday in them, I expect Lat is right about Top 40 A sides though.
They call it stormy Monday, but Tuesday's just as bad
They call it stormy Monday, but Tuesday's just as bad
Wednesday's worse, and Thursday's also sad
Yes the eagle flies on Friday, and Saturday I go out to play
Eagle flies on Friday, and Saturday I go out to play
Sunday I go to church, then I kneel down and pray

All a matter of an opinion. That's not my idea of a non event RM !!!I will not be pushed, filed, stamped, indexed, briefed, debriefed or numbered. My life is my own.
I am not a number, I am a free man.
