( i'll get me coat )
I'm enjoying the Welsh railway programmes and thought the one about model railways was fascinating, one could forgive Pete Waterman for inflicting Steps upon us after learning about his passion for railways.

I see the Dan Snow programmes are available for longer than the usual 7 days so I'll endeavour to catch up on iplayer.

I blame it all my first school who tried to make me learn to write with my right had when I was a natural leftie. Thankfully my dear mother insisted they recognise the truth. But a mild dyslexia has dogged me all my life.
I have begun to wonder if it can get worse again as you age. Or maybe I'm just a really bad typist with a brain that runs faster than my fingers, and a poor speller to boot.

Reckon that has to be Anna's favourite children's programme, that one!"...the isle is full of noises,
Sounds and sweet airs, that give delight and hurt not.
Sometimes a thousand twangling instruments
Will hum about mine ears, and sometime voices..."

Last night, Genius of Invention. Very interesting programme about engines, first half devoted to Watt, Trevithick, Stephenson about steam locomotives. Second half about internal combustion and jet engines. http://www.bbc.co.uk/iplayer/episode...vention_Speed/

I need help. I staggered to the bathroom first thing for a hiss, eyes red raw and coughing up black. Breakfast was a 4555 Great Western and 3442 LNER in quick succession. All this cheap steam on the Beeb and at YouTube is stoking my habit. After a furtive exchange on a local platform corner, I'll be on the A4 Pacifics for the rest of the day:
A 4464 Bittern – Dan Snow's History of Railways Part 3 last ten minutes at Stoke Bank etc.
A 4498 Sir Nigel Gresley - The Train Now Departing - 1. The Long Drag, at 1.36 and throughout.
A 4498 Sir Nigel Gresley - The Great Railway Cavalcade, at 37.29
A 4492 Dominion of New Zealand - Steam Trains through Bath 2011, at speed 0.51 and later 16.00
I'm really going off the rails, and there's no RA in the phone book.
