A long while ago I was working with a group of people. We decided that we'd try each others' enthusiasms, as a result of which I got to go to a motor race and I went gliding. As I recall we never went to an orchestral concert, but we compromised and went to ballet - Swan Lake - which amazed me in parts. We also went to see/hear Stomu Yamshta in the Roundhouse. So, the way this works you might have to go to a rugby match in return for whch your friends/colleagues will come to a piano recital, and so on. It can work, though again you might not get long term converts - in any direction.
