This is my list for today - there could be a different one tomorrow (but I shall not post it):
Les Diaboliques - a superb psychological war against its audience
Some Like it Hot or almost any other Marilyn film
Alexander Nevsky - especially for its music and the magnificence of the Battle on the Ice
Midnight Express, which has deterred me from holidaying in Turkey to this day
Cages aux folles - but for heaven's sake NOT the American version
Dinner For One - a masterpiece of comedy
Entertaining Mr Sloan or anything with Beryl Reid
Oh Mr Porter or The Lady Vanishes
Don de Liverpool
