For years we have entertained the idea of attaching a web cam to our cat, because we are fascinated about where he goes. But we can't think of a way to do it reliably. If anybody has solved the problem, I would be interested to hear how

There have been lots of nature-type programmes on TV in which miniature cams are attached to noctural creatures' backs to find out about their behaviour patterns. The RSPCA appears not to have objected.

If you managed to attach some sort of a micro-chip camera on a cat, you wouldn’t imagine the cat to behave as it normally does as if it did not notice what you are after, would you?

The main problem is that he's very good at taking his collar off while he's out. We don't know how he does it (not having fingers) but it's costing us a fortune in new collars! If we could attach a camera, we could find out where they all are.

Except, of course, if he can take off a collar...

Our cats, on the other hand - a complete mystery!

                            Dave "what was that then?"
Bill "a cat wandered into my garden and had a crap"
                            Dave "so what?"
Bill "well then he buried it"
Dave "well that's what cats do"
