I feel the same about some others - it really is a useful tool. Having said that, I think that using it too much defeats the object of being involved in the forum for several reasons.

Is it his policies or the man himself that people are objecting to?
I do despair with the lack of commonsense amongst many of our politicians. On yesterday's evening news, they had a film clip of the new Shadow Chancellor visiting a training college. He wandered up to some young lads working with screwdrivers on a large panel with 13A sockets and switches on it. "What are you training to be, then?" asked Mr Balls.

And now we have GongGong the "composer" chipping in to show us that he hasn't understood and with another of the intelligent comments that we used to see so regularly on the old boards, viz. "nurse, he's out of bed again".
I know we all have differing abilities, but some people really do struggle to see things as anything other than single unvariable concepts, don't they? It must be difficult to be so circumscribed.

As regards Mr Gove's policies, Chris, I really can't comment in any detail as I haven't yet studied them and all their possible ramifications. I suspect that few have, and that all the opprobrium is coming from people who dislike the Tories, the Coalition and probably Mr Gove himself, (without of course knowing him), and that they would be against him whatever he did. I've got the TES downstairs somewhere, so I might have chance to look at that this wekend and see if there is any more useful info.Comment

I do believe in fairies, they are in fact at at the bottom of my garden. However, I believe Father Christmas was an invention of the Coca Cola company. We should instead look to St. Nicholas.
