Annoying R3 Trailers

The current one, just played, about concerts, features a melange of orchestral works in different keys and styles. Do they* not realise how insulting this is to R3 listeners? I can see how it would work as a come-on to regulars of, say, R2 or R4, but it is just plain patronising on R3 . And actually quite painful to hear (I try not to listen).
(*And who are they?!)

That's been my criticism of Mixtape, too.

There was a worrying new tendency that appeared in the morning schedules with the Beat Beethoven' event to insert that advert in between the usual placements for such things which is around the half-hourly headlines - 45 mins to the hour was a favoured slot.

My usual refrain - the posters on this board are not the audience R3 is interested in - maybe in the days of the third programme we were, but politically 'bash the elites' is a common theme heavily exploited by the pop industry - just think of all those celeb slots that need filling with nonentities with no views of their own being merely mouthpieces for some advertising agency. R4 is just as bad, often even worse, as there adverts are disguised as news items.

Perennial (and perennially pointless I know...) question as to why R3 listens have to be bashed over the head repeatedly each day for months with the Proms adverts. Surely the number of listeners who aren't aware of a)the existence of the Proms and b) that they will be starting in a couple of months, is negligible, in contrast to listeners of all the other BBC radio stations - so why not bludgeon them - they're the ones who need it?
Somewhat related, I've had occasion to venture into BBC TV recently and notice that the adverts for Sounds seem very limited in their idea of music choice for the would be consumer. The apparent target (from what I've seen so far) seems to me to be the kind of audience that is more than capable of (and is almost certainly) finding its own music preferences away from Auntie and wouldn't see a need to change. The R3 audience is constantly (unnecessarily?) reminded, but again, where else does that relentless drip spread?
