Nielsen S4 on South Carolina Public Radio: no Olympic contest to choose between stations here.

Talking of which, as a special treat for us* non-sporty types, instead of Bronze, couldn't we have had Brass (Bradley Hardacre) or Lead (Merchant of Venice / Sapphire & Steel) as alternative metals / alloys?

Looks like the better option. After all, how many really classical stations do we have in the UK?

They do the odd fundraising thing, but basically it is simple presentation and music, with some complete works, esp during their nightime.

Does the job for certain kinds of ( easy) listening.

Shouldnt it be retagged “the Worlds Greatest Classical music festival with some light music , Broadway , jazz and pop ( the latter with cliched string rearrangements tacked on)”
    I guess that’s a bit of a mouthful.
