Groan's Dictionary are pleased to announce the forthcoming publication of a new revised edition. Because the language of music is constantly evolving, we would welcome suggestions of new definitions.

We would like to acknowledge the considerable effort made by our readers and by BBC Radio 3 towards the revision of our last edition:
