Radio 3 - Lets lower the standards

Why is Radio 3 so highbrow when most people here discuss things on the level of Radio 1?

        Hello Lat,

        What's up?

You don't know me, i don't know you, but I enjoy reading your posts - most of the time - and find them quite thoughtful - please don't boil over, not worth it!

I've put Lat in pre-mod for the moment.

We'll see what we can do.
It isn't given us to know those rare moments when people are wide open and the lightest touch can wither or heal. A moment too late and we can never reach them any more in this world.

He's right, most are only on the level of Radio 1.

The forum has its critics. I would quote in this context the saying: "If you're not part of the solution, you're part of the problem."

Radio 3 is up and down like a Yo - Yo.

Unfortuntatly this forum is not quite up to the old BBC boards even with the appalling BBC moderation we had to suffer. This is partly because, sadly, some thoughtful and key members have died, and others have not re-joined after the BBC closure.

But one can continue to hope that things might improve, and one must be positive.

What's happened to Hornspieler by the way? We often disagreed but he is an interesting contributer.

I am always trying to encourage musical friends to give it a go. 'Boarding' is not everyone's cup-of-tea, and the reactions I get include:

                            I haven't got the time
It's for people who've got time on their hands
                            No-one wants my opinions
There's a lot of weirdos on there aren't there?

Well I try to disabuse them of all the above; and I think I've managed to get two or three people to join as regulars; but some want to read the posts but are diffident about posting.

But we all ought to keep advertising this (IMO) excellent forum.

So sorry - I'm doing my best . I hope it's better than nothing...

                              Hornspieler is taking a break.
