    Murdoch supports BBC Licence Fee!

Take a look at this from the McTaggart:

Of the Murdoch offspring Elizabeth is most like and unlike her father. She has the brains and ambition but it's tempered and individual. She has frequently fallen out with her father so this lecture is not so surprising.

Not sure Gordon. Her words sound quite good and probably should be welcomed. She has to my mind at other times come across as less reasoned and indeed charming. And none of them will have much choice on being required to comply with Leveson.

this lecture is not so surprising. as 'shine' were bidding for production of future beeb programmes, wasn't 'any answers' on elizabeth's list of hopeful conquests?

i should imagine denis potter would prefer no murdoch sully his pristine reputation ideally....so, lizzy's possibly clutching at straws there in terms of her own cred?

perhaps em should stick to the screen punching wilderness of food that is 'masterchef'... ? to compete at your own peril is something her dad didn't have to do within the news industry, as he simply 'removed' competition, with a swipe of a 'pay to view' card bought on ebay. if she's inherited these skills elizabeth murdoch may be able to change 'any answers' root and branch, purge it down to just a news flash, that 'no one has any answers whatsoever'.......neat, efficient and lean!

Well how prescient. Liberal Democrat Dr Evan Harris, ex MP, has just been given nearly 7 minutes of 'Any Answers' to state his views. Obviously the BBC thinks that we don't hear enough of politicians and that members of the public aren't good enough.
