It's not that S. Korea is even in the women's football competition, for goodness sake, so what idiot decided to use its flag in the video? Presumably this official film was then closely vetted by some London 2012 management idiot(s) who considered everything was just hunky-dory?
What an embarrassing shambles right at the start of this huge event ... I daren't even imagine what similar example of amateurish and truly mind-boggling British sloppiness might be coming next.

Yet again Twenty-Twelve comes to seem more and more like a documentary"...the isle is full of noises,
Sounds and sweet airs, that give delight and hurt not.
Sometimes a thousand twangling instruments
Will hum about mine ears, and sometime voices..."

Mind you, those official names - as properly used at the Olympics - may in some way explain the mix-up. I assume some yoof on a training scheme was in charge - who might have been aware that 'North Korea' and 'South Korea' are different countries - but may have thought that 'The Democratic People's Republic of Korea' and 'The Republic of Korea' were just harmless variations on the same thing.

Three points about the Ladies' (or is it Women's?) football tournament.
(1) The chap from LOCOG seemed to derive some comfort from the fact that it wasn't a real wrong flag, only an illustration on a screen of the wrong flag...
(2) Apparently there are only 12 teams competing, 8 of which progress to the quarter-finals
(3) Any future sales and attendance figures issued by Seb's minions should be treated with the greatest suspicion. (The term 'sell-out' has more than one meaning, by the way).
