      So an appropriate surname then?

So HS gets some very harsh treatment for an unpleasant slimy remark about Nicola Benedetti and withdrew the remark quickly, as he should have done.

I don't read Russian but it's apparently okay to make rude jokes about poor old Sue Barker. I'm pretty broad-minded but these are certainly MBs for men these days, women are second-class citizens.

I'm looking after frenchie's 'Taste and Decency' robot, by the way

Well, the final is about to get going and I for one am looking forward to it. Mac takes both games seriously and I'm with him on that one, along with most things he says and believes.

Talking about harsh, I was a little critical of Radwanska earlier when actually I don't mind her at all. It was the beaten semi-finalists I really didn't like. So I don't mind too much. I'm supporting SW for a fifth title but I mainly hope it is a good match.

IT's harsh but not true at all (to me as a 15 year old )

Possibly even Scotland.... There are one or two concert halls here last time I looked. Quite good ones.

Looks like this final isn't going to be one of the great contests of all time.

What I miss with 3 set matches (inc. the mens game at tournaments like Queen's) is the absence of fluctuations of psychology and stamina that make 5 set matches so absorbing. The potential for a turn-around of fortunes even if one player wins the first two sets, makes the format the only one which really interests me.

I really think that the women ought to try five set matches at the top level. I've yet to hear a convincing reason why not.

Just taking a quick break. Serve is dodgy now. She's gone to pieces.
