Just finished listening to the concert from St. David' s Hall Cardiff.
Arguably one of the BEST Alpeinsinfonie's I've heard in years and truly my FAVOURITE of Richard Strauss' tone poems, it always wipes me out.
I just could not fault the performance, although on this side of the pond, I noticed some annoying streaming glitches that WEREN'T there during the Mozart.
I hope it will be up on the iplayer again without the glitches.
