The residents are probably very hospitable here.

Here's somewhere that sounds neither Dull not Boring...

"...the isle is full of noises,
Sounds and sweet airs, that give delight and hurt not.
          Sometimes a thousand twangling instruments
Will hum about mine ears, and sometime voices..."

OK. Now the tone has been lowered, here is a village in the land of my Huguenot ancestors:

Mais, c'est la belle France, non? What's wrong with taking a leak where you wish? Who needs a Po? They'll only empty it over the neighbours fence, so you might just as well drain your sump there in the first place.

Lancaster County being in Amish country, no? I remember that from the film "Witness"

As a resident of the Parish of Dull, Perthshire, I had quite missed this thread. A local traffic hazard is coming on people stopped on the main road with one of them taking a photo of the other(s) with the roadsign for "Dull" pointing at their head (usually woman taking photo of man). By all accounts (not that I would know anything about it as I am hopelessly out of touch with what is going on), it's a hotbed of seething feuds, passions etc etc and anything but dull.
