Petroc Trelawny, the BBC classical music presenter arrested in Zimbabwe for compèring at a charity event without a work permit, could soon be released from police custody after a magistrate suggested his lack of paperwork could be the fault of his employers.

“He was in good spirits and he is comfortable. He is in a single ward with two very nice young policemen guarding him. He is being well treated."

Glad he's coming home and hopefully next time he'll book through a high street travel agent - they'll be able to tell him about visa requirements.
