Is that so? And precisely what notice did she take of a 13 year old Argentine kid whom she'd never previously encountered?
Anyway - isn't it time we all just left her alone to enjoy her four days in what little peace she can muster between now and midnight next Tuesday? (although if she can feign enjoyment of certain of the musical input she's a more strong-willed person than most of us might give her credit for).
I cannot help but think that, if she and "the firm" as a whole were stripped of most of their assets and income by a revolutionary government (and it would have to be the government of the day otherwise it would be plain theft), they'd be squandered in no time by said government just as effectively as tends all too often to happen with non-revolutionary governments - and if anyone tries to tell me that they've all become wealthy on the backs of others, I can respond only that this is the case with everyone who's wealthy and, given that wealth is by definition a comparative concept, it could be argued that the council apartment renting fellow on a hundred quid a week has gotten to that point on the backs of poorer people.
I have no idea how much money HM the Queen brings into the nation's coffers as a direct consequence of being HM the Queen and doing what she does, but I do know that I have a problem with people who found their views on jealous resentment of others whose income and assets are greater in value than their own just because they happen to be so.
For what it may or may not be worth, I doubt that most people would fancy being obliged to do the same job for 60 years without retirement prospects - any job, let alone the one that she's stuck with until she dies or becomes physically and/or mentally capable of continuing to do it.
By the way, Mr GG - it would be no good giving one of those buckets to the Queen, because the likelihood of her kicking it before her centenary is about as great as her nation's debt being repaid in full by then...
Never-before-seen footage of the Royal family, some filmed by the Queen, are to be shown in a BBC documentary to celebrate the Jubilee.
FFS ...............
I don't really understand why you felt the need to put up a link to a programme that you clearly had no intention of watching, and that had already been shown by the time you posted the link in the first place. I also don't understand why you will need more buckets- what a delightful image- if you didn't watch it.
Actually, it was a lovely and touching film, well worth catching. I expect it's on the BBC iPlayer.
Let the celebrations begin!!
Patriotism is supporting your country all the time, and your government when it deserves it.
I guess MrPee that, like you, i'm sick of the Bolshevik Broadcasting Corporation and it's left wing anti establishment propaganda being pumped into our living rooms
(it seems fine for YOU to make comments on music you never listen to ...........................)

Well, it does no particular harm to try to persuade people that the Queen is, like the rest of us, a human being...

It was a clever allusion that went right over your head like an aeroplane or a helicopter.

Whilst aeroplanes and helicopters do indeed go over my head occasionally (albeit as a respectable and relatively comfortable distance, being as far from the nearest airport as I am), your allusion did no such thing; you seem also to be unaware of the fact that the making of that allusion does not confer upon you exclusive rights to bucket references.

Never mind...
What is a bucket reference (and did you get picked-on at school?)?
What is a bucket reference (and did you get picked-on at school?)?
Read the thread for the answer to your first question, To the second, the answer is a resounding no (unless you count being asked - and agreeing - to take the upper sixth form harmony class while the music director absented himself). Did you go to school?

Back to topic, s'il vous plaît?
That thing that crawled up your bum, what's it called?
