            Yep, but just think ... around 80% of the population obviously don't understand how anyone could possibly think like you do, team ... I bet it beats them as well.

            It's often termed ... . THE WILL/POWER OF THE PEOPLE ... in my naivety, I've always thought that is the literal meaning of 'republicanism' ... ?

                being a Southampton boy, I have a piccy of THE QE2.....different thing !!

                  The more people like something the better it is ......... hummmmmm so that's a bit of a bugger for the Havergal Brian society then ....... and good news for Mr Cowell

                    Trouble is, we're not allowed to choose If we had a proper referendum, with a proper debate & limits on spending, so that the 'monarchy party' supporters (who will, no doubt, be mega-rich) can't skew the campaign (unlike the AV referendum) then at least there would be an opportunity to choose (even if the result wasn't to my liking).
