No, but I nevertheless appreciate your amusing interjection here!

        Could be, could be, ah.

I think I'll defer commenting on that until we've had a minimum of 2 years of King Charles, or whatever he chooses to call himself, then we won't be so limited by the cult of personality

We'll just have to wait and see

It's more than a little paradoxical that the rabid Kipper Folk who object to the EU because they feel that it's "anti democratic" seem more than happy to have the Queen ? Kind of negates the argument really ............. and it's not that (as some might suggest) that the royals have "no real power" , try building something on the Chelsea Barracks site

No need for you to be sorry, although there is for me to be sorry that you can't see the parallels of anti-social attitude, intransigence and inability to care about certain other people and their fate. I know that it was supposed to be a joke, but it rather backfired, I think, to the extent that it wasn't really funny at all. Were that barge to have gone down, quite a few people would have gone down with it, including all those working on it at the time. I don;t think that it's necessary to patronise you with words of one syllable but I should point out that the word "syllable" does have two "l"s...

And possibly for a very long time indeed; who's to say that the present Queen might not celebrate her 75th jubilee alongside her centenary and still be at it? And then there's the question of whether Charles will want to assume the monarch's position at what might be quite an advanced age...

Yes, indeed it does; it certainly doesn't have just one, however...

...and is rather sweeter than the remark recently made by one flossie hereabouts - but never mind that; what on earth or elsewhere motivated you to post a photograph from the Daily Mail?(!)...
