(Tho' platypus is used as a plural too.)

Sounds and sweet airs, that give delight and hurt not.
        Sometimes a thousand twangling instruments
Will hum about mine ears, and sometime voices..."

'We may need a couple of minutes of your time...' ... 'We may visit your home ... no more than a few minutes.'

Time is getting short to think of a new tactic.
I've just received my expected letter. I think it's Level One in the Customer Relations ranking. 'We'd like to stop writing to you if you don't need a licence ...'

I went online (as they suggested) to say I didn't need a licence and ...

            None of the above.

The closest was "I only watch catch-up services via a computer (e.g. iPlayer): You do not watch or record television programmes, on any device, as they're being shown on TV (i.e. live)."

But I don't. Not TV ones. So I had to ring them up to say what do I choose if I do have a computer which will receive a TV signal but I don't use it for that. They said there was an option, but I can't see it.
It isn't given us to know those rare moments when people are wide open and the lightest touch can wither or heal. A moment too late and we can never reach them any more in this world.

Sounds like the sort of essential job you find that has to be done this minute - far more important than doing the Tax return.
