I've known several women who make the most (and more) of their hair, if you're not blessed with beauty it's a way to stand out. I don't think RB is channelling the pre-raphaelites consciously, she probably just grew it, coloured it, and found it turning into a signature as she became better-known.
God knows I've done most of what you can humanly (and artificially) do to your hair, it can be very hard to let go of a long style, it becomes part of your personality.
EDIT: She's probably a natural redhead - but variously with highlights, tints and sometimes henna treatments. Profound subject what? DEFINITELY relevant. Not off-topic at all.Last edited by jayne lee wilson; 16-05-12, 18:35.
