But the point is, did she and her husband pervert the course of justice by denying or destroying evidence? That's all that is important.
Yes, that is all that matters...
but oh Anna! You've fallen into the old trap of judging a woman's looks, just as you say you dislike such a thing!

I've known several women who make the most (and more) of their hair, if you're not blessed with beauty it's a way to stand out. I don't think RB is channelling the pre-raphaelites consciously, she probably just grew it, coloured it, and found it turning into a signature as she became better-known.

God knows I've done most of what you can humanly (and artificially) do to your hair, it can be very hard to let go of a long style, it becomes part of your personality.

EDIT: She's probably a natural redhead - but variously with highlights, tints and sometimes henna treatments. Profound subject what? DEFINITELY relevant. Not off-topic at all.

"It was announced by Bell Pottinger that Rebekah and Charlie Brooks were expecting a daughter in early 2012 via a surrogate mother."

She will need to look after her baby when the court case takes place!!!!!

She'll presumably be able to afford a bob or two to hire a nanny, despite being unemployed. But if it was due in early 2012 it's late, unless she's been keeping it very quiet (I don't mean literally keeping the baby quiet )

It's probably best to try not to waste anything on anyone involved in all of this and instead watch and wait to see what the trial outcome may be; at least there's now going to be one.

Oh for goodness sake. If you can't see the subtext of the OP, then really you must be living in cloud-cuckoo land. <D'Oh!>

Yes, I think this was why the thread was called Foot in Mouth.

Yes that's one of the (many) problems I have (always had) with women: they spend (or rather waste) so much time and effort in decorating themselves, and it is all utterly ineffective and futile! Take "lip-stick" for instance - is it not the silliest thing?

I'll see if I can find another link. I clicked to check and it's a bloke with a full beard applying a scarlet coating to his lippage.

                        Scroll down on this one.

And men don't? In any case, this is not about "the (many) problems (you) have (always had) with women"; it's about Mrs Brooks, her appearance and some people's view of that appearance, of which only the first of those three matter, since the only "appearance" of Mrs Brooks to which it is of any importance to look forward is her appearance in Court when she stands trial, along with her husband and others, for perverting the course of (British) justice and other offences with which she/they has/have been charged.
