    No haven't come across it....but will but a request in at the library....

    Been busy getting a show together, I'll email it....

    Actually if you scroll down the page [next item]....that was a great prog', really put the book into the time and context.
    'Candide' was the third book I ever paid for with my own money, from the school book club....I chose it because it was thin....but had an effect on my life and sense of humour ever since....

    Can you enter the BBC archives etc from where you are....??

      Candide? So you have been avoiding metaphysical potholes ever since? And here I was absorbing Captain Blood (R. Sabatini) under the covers during cold Pennsylvania days...

      BBC archives are not accessible to States-er's in my previous attempts.
