The Scream was probably the most consistent, but If i lost all the albums now, I would probably just buy a greatest hits.

Also, on the two occasions I saw them, they put in a pretty half hearted effort, really. An hour (and not high energy of course ) one encore of Hong Kong garden and that was your lot.

Still love those singles , though !!
I saw them once and they were really poor. I loved the singles though, and the Kaleidoscope LP. A few years later I bought a covers LP on the strength of a Sparks cover that I heard on the radio, but it was a very disappointing album.

classic pupils outdoing the teacher stuff......(remembering that Robert Smith filled in on the "Join Hands" tour....

I saw the Cure on the "Pornography " tour at Southampton Gaumont. as folks will know, the Cure had taken their music to a very deep, introspective and intense place.

Anyway, it was monumentally awesome, not least because they were(apparently) using the same PA stuff that Pink Floyd had used for "The Wall" at Earls Court.
It really was a sensational and memorable night.
Then they went all rubbish after that !

Hard to know where to start with Laibach. Maybe just root around on Youtube and take it from there. Check out 'Let it Be' and 'Volk' though.

I don't know Laibach but that says nothing because I don't know that many rock artists post-Sixties since when I've concentrated mainly on classical. I was 14 when the Beatles hit us between the eyes with "She Loves You". If I really like someone I tend to collect the majority of their albums and try to see them live.

Here's my tally for what it's worth:
                            Dylan 55 (includes bootlegs)
                            Joni Mitchell 19
Ella Fitzgerald 13 (obviously not rock)
                            Beatles 13
                            Tom Waits 12
                            Emmylou Harris 10
                            Lucinda Williams 10
                            Randy Newman 10
                            Johnny Cash 8

I don't have more than a couple by anyone else

A very perspicacious list! Although I have to say that I cannot get anything from Bob Dylan!

Can't get my head round the idea of 55 Dylan albums !!

I am waiting to find a fellow boarder who holds the B-52's in as high esteem as I do ........
