I haven't tracked this carefully but it seems to be related to whether I'm logged in or not. When I log out (in Safari) which I rarely bother to do, as it times out automatically, it cheerfully tells me 'All cookies cleared'. But the bold/light thing sometimes seems to work even if I'm not logged in but just browsing.

Sorry - I was being unscientific in my observations. I should have added 'while remaining logged in throughout'.

I only ever have to log in if I'm logged out by some unseen force, which happens, perhaps, once in four or five weeks.

#2 Mr GongGong, OK, I give up. Either this is synthetic technogibberish, or it is deeply informative to those who know. But I dont know, so please enlighten me, what on earth are you talking about? I'm not even going to attempt to scratch my head over this post, I havent got enough hair left to sacrifice any.

It's the code for a supercollider patch (which is free and downloadable) to make a virtual theremin
should you want one , of course

#19 Ah ... many thanks. If I had a virtual theremin I could virtually play it, but because it was virtual no-one would be able to hear it. Which, given my level of musical talent, is probably just as well. I shall give it a virtual ponder.

Do you have to go to Switzerland to install it?
