      Three points of debate here
My guess is that you omitted "Britain" and "fans" from the three points.

'Britain' a notorious crux - Great Britain, the United Kingdom, the British Isles (not to be confused with the British Islands) &c - and surely we might have questions concerning 'the' and 'of' ...

Yes, you have a point. In fact, what do we think of Oasis?

(Simon Price his usual grumpy self )
It isn't given us to know those rare moments when people are wide open and the lightest touch can wither or heal. A moment too late and we can never reach them any more in this world.

I try not to think of Oasis...

...unless I've been tasked with arranging flowers*

*Which is not a common occurrence!

It's a bad thing environment-wise so even if arranging flowers avoidance is to be preferred.

Actually, thinking abut it, the human version is also environmentally damaging - how many barrels of crude will be needed to keep the show on the road and the merchandise flowing?

I wasn't crticising it! Very illuminating - and fed into my prejudices against all those who become unfathomably wealthy by being sulky ill-mannered louts. (Don't know about Liam personally - the main attack was on Noel, the one who (allegedly) needs more ready cash to pay for his divorce, and on their music about which SP knows more than I do.

Very much my thoughts. An entertaining article from which I learned quite a bit - Oasis having been(and will remain now) outside my experience or interest.

Thanks for that, ooo. Like Oasis (of either variety) it's not something that has crossed my mind. I do see what you mean (on both counts):

Floral foam is bad for our environment, people, & animals. In this blog as we discuss its damaging effects & our favourite green alternatives.

This from the makers of the stuff is quite the lesson in how to greenwash!

This product degrades by 75% within 1 year in anaerobic environment
                          is perhaps the standout example.

Perhaps it's not actually going to happen and the whole thing is nothing more than a skilfully hyped mirage.

                              Or unjust deserts, even.

In the interests of balance? An alternative view to that of Simon Price.
The Britpop band’s long-awaited reunion is a sellout but has provoked a backlash. Maybe they (and their fans) are the wrong kind of working class
