Showoff, maybe - but not a mutant !!

      Sometimes a thousand twangling instruments
Will hum about mine ears, and sometime voices..."

Thanks. I think that would have been my understanding. So even if you could find the images on the net, posted by someone else, we would still be colluding. The offence might be slightly mitigated is we also posted an Amazon link indicating where people might purchase a copy of the publication ...........
It isn't given us to know those rare moments when people are wide open and the lightest touch can wither or heal. A moment too late and we can never reach them any more in this world.

But if you post a link to another website where the images are to be found, that's fine I think to all practical intents and purposes.

Even if I post them to the website and immediately post a link here? That sounds rather self defeating. If I'm mis-understanding, Caliban, my apologies.

I think Frenchie and I are talking about a site with the images already available, created by a third party...

                Yes. That makes perfect sense.

I googled Hoffnung images and came up with lots, but not those under discussion.

Some time ago, coming out of the shower, I managed to slip on the bathroom floor and careered into the vacuum cleaner, which had managed to malevolently place itself in my path. Howling with pain, I commenced beating the crap out of it, as one does in these situations. The then Mrs P appeared in the doorway to see what was going on. However, instead of the sympathetic cooing which I considered my due as the blood poured out of the gash in my leg, she just said, "what the hell do you think you're doing?" My response that the bloody thing had tried to kill me was waved away as she berated me, saying: "if you've broken it you'll have to go out and buy a new one". Needless to say, this incident taught me we were not well matched.

Panjandrum, I hope your leg is now fully healed. There's one thing I'm not clear about. Does the "we" above refer to you and the then Mrs P, or you and the vacuum cleaner?

I'm reminded of the Scottish mother's cry of sympathy to her offspring: "If you fall and break your leg, don't come running to me!"

I have now, as umslopagaas asked, uploaded the pictures. Please PM me with your email address if you would like the link. I have PMd some interested parties already.

On topic note: I got a new computer two weeks ago with Windows 7 64 bit OS. I discovered when installing things that my scanner is "incompatible" with the new OS. Fortunately everything else I have is, so I used my camera instead.

Those little ipod headphones are malicious in the way they coil themselves up into gordian knots, even when left untouched.

...yes there is quite a lot of self-knitting about in this universe made of string as it might be or not or both etc ...
According to the best estimates of astronomers there are at least one hundred billion galaxies in the observable universe.
