Likely to be top notch in time, it's a question of how the horse takes to his racecourse debut. If he settles he could waltz past all of them. Small ew bet rather than banker.

Just passing on what I heard up on the Heath . . .
Thanks Alison. Saw this a bit late as I've already had my bets for the day on the Scottish Grand National (Monsieur Cadou and Fill the Power) and Champion Hurdle (Une Artiste) so if one of these comes home I'll have ago.

Looks like a two horse race and not much of a betting proposition.

It always takes a while to get the jumps racing out of my system before I can get used to what's going on on the Flat.

It's difficult to imagine either being beaten ! I've always loved the Guineas meeting.

Still one more Cheltenham fixture to enjoy tonight.

Yes, wasn't given a hard time at all by jock and finished the race on the unfavoured part of the track. Looked full of running to me.

Now this is the kind of Sunday evening I like! The one that comes before a Bank Holiday Monday.

Had an excellent Guineas weekend having made a nice £110 profit from Saturday's Newmarket races. Just off to look at my wish list...

Yes, feel right smug about it! Backed a 10/1 winner in the 2.35 yesterday and got 3rd each way at 20/1 in the 2000 Guineas.

Helps to pay for all those CD's! Bought my Samsung Smart TV last year courtesy of the bookies.

Now, I'm sure it says a lot about me, but I read that as a "Guiness" weekend - which sounds pretty good!

But congratulations, Pet - enjoy spending it!

No big win for me this weekend, alas. The poor weather resulted in too many non-runners taken out at the last minute.

Monday morning looms again already. I have a new boss starting tomorrow but have Tuesday off to meet up with friends so should be an interesting week what with York races as well.

Any tips from Alison for York?

I see that Ataraxis is entered for the 6.25 at Newmarket on this coming Wednesday, the 16th. Wondered if there was still some confidence behind this one?

How are we all this evening ?

                                Good week off Robbo ?

Some good turf investments Friday and Saturday - time to finally treat myself to Lohengrin I think.

I feel DSCH 10 coming on thanks to discussions elsewhere.
