I put one pound each way on the winner for Lady Gould and picked up 84.50, when I asked if I could keep the two pound original stake she declined to allow this.....at least Fenwicks will be happy!Comment

A modest profit with an each way bet.

when I say I have worked in the industry.........well I have. not at an influential level though, really.
Yup, feel bad about NA but he got a good payoff, a new job, and will always be a legend at our place, so perhaps it worked out after all.

An interesting outsider for today is Hamelin 4.40 Newbury.
Likely to be top notch in time, it's a question of how the horse takes to his racecourse debut. If he settles he could waltz past all of them. Small ew bet rather than banker.
