Not sure why it's been withdrawn. Maybe look out for it next time.

        4.40 Southwell Thursday

        WILLIAM THOMAS

No worthwhile form but has been aimed at this race for a few weeks.

Definitely a working mans price. I understand the intention is to ‘make all’ so really hope the horse breaks from the stalks alertly and that petrol doesn’t run out!

                  Never mind.
We must be due a winner.

Indeed .... never mind at all ..... seemed to have trouble at the start with anything but a fast break ......

Glad I didn't have a go in the end. The odds just seemed too stacked against it especially with an odds on favourite at the head of the market. Proof once again that a horse can often lose a race at the start.

                      The winners will come!

Sorry that was a duff’un. Hampered at the start and that was it.

Jockey Cieren Fallon helps claim a slice of history at Newbury on Saturday as his mount Intercessor triumphs at odds of 200-1.

Sadly not, Edgy. I've not been having a go while the betting shops have been closed as I won't do it online but wish I'd made an exception with this one.

It's great to have the racing back and I don't miss the crowd at all on the TV. One bonus is that you can hear what everybody is saying in interviews etc without the constant background din.

I know what you mean Pet,the lack of spectators doesn't detract from the enjoyment in some sports, not sure football on TV works without the added atmosphere of the crowd though
