Looking forward to it, though your message 25 gave us Noble Mission to mull over. Still running?

Fingers crossed for NOBLE MISSION 2.35 Goodwood Tuesday.

This is the main target for a horse who could have been placed in the Derby had he run.

Confidence very high but it is horse racing :) Don't go mad just because the last tip won !!

Don't worry on my account, Alison, I am, if anything, a rather careful punter. Any profit at all is good news where I am concerned. You win some, you lose some and life goes on.

                        Well done EDGERS !!!

An absolute thriller with our lad sticking out his neck just at the right time as if knowing how many boxed sets
                        would be at stake.

Petrushka was on - lets hope Mr Anton was too.

What a lovely thread this is

Congrats to all who won and to Alison for her advice - I didn't join in because experience shows that I have a dead hand when it comes to betting

I was indeed dear Alison - just read the comments in the 'Post and as you say on the nod.

                            Is he in the Leger?

Sad that Sir Henry is poorly and would not see this today or Frankel tomorrow.

P.S. I have not told Lady Gould so I may just get a box set!

                            Many Thanks again.

Yes, he is in the Leger but so is Thomas Chippendale who waltzed passed him at Royal Ascot

and seemed to have plenty of petrol in the tank.

I would love to see either or both give Camelot a run for his money.

No doubt the second in today's race will feel a little hard done by but then our boy

came from a lot further back.

Yes, great shame about Sir Henry. He looked pretty terrible last time I saw him in Newmarket

and had lost his voice more or less completely.

Pleased that Amateur is enjoying the thread ! Not sure when the next selection will be - better to

have a smaller number of exquisite investments than a ragbag of half decent ones.

Like your thinking here and was rather hoping that you would say something of the sort. Much rather have a tip that has your confidence. Look forward to the next selection - and perhaps I'll be a bit less cautious in punting next time!
