    Living prolific composers?

I wonder if any composer alive today has written enough stuff to fill a whole week on Radio 3? (I'm currently working on 10,080 which, in the spirit of the late lamented John Cage, would ensure a week's total silence on our beloved network.)

Hans Werner Henze is incredibly prolific...I fear there is easily enough to fill a week :)

Oh - and Wolfgang Rihm - there's an astonishing amount of him (see http://www.composers21.com/compdocs/rihmw.htm)

As I've commented in other threads, Kalevi Aho isn't doing too badly with 15 symphonies, 3 chamber symphonies, at least 12 concertos and much other orchestral music...

...more remarkable is the high level of quality and inspiration I find, especially in the concertos.

Draco. You have to write a whole load of dots to last an hour. Well, you do if you're Wagner. Maybe not if you're Part. Maybe GJ will post to tell us if his dots add up to a week's worth yet!

Leif Segerstam has composed 150 symphonies so far, as well as other music, and finds time to wave his arms about quite a lot.

See my post no. 3: it's over 250 now!
Maverick, eccentric? Words can't describe this prolific Finnish composer – which probably explains his symphonies' titles

                          Go for the older composers!

(Or the younger composers and have lots of talking inbetwixt)
