I had to Google to find out who Benedict Cumberbatch is . Am I turning into a High Court Judge?

Love The Daily Otter - many thanks!

He's an actor, isn't he? & I think the ladies are rather keen on him.

Of the two, I think the otters look cuter.

Richard, how did you come across it? Was it through an interest in otters, or BC?

            & I second Caliban's

              Olivia Poulet, Caliban.
She's in the one thing BBC tv produces that makes my licence taxes worthwhile. Almost.

A most penetrating line of cross-examination, Flossie!

Yes. Up there with that Mrs Merton question to Debbie McGee

I meet otters in the course of my work - but by a curious coincidence BC was filming in this part of the world not long ago, and maybe worked on his facial expressions then.

Cuter possibly Flossie but could you cope with fishy bweff first thing?!

                          No argument there, Floss ...

How lucky is Richard to sometimes meet these delightful mammals in the course of his work.

I've yet to spot one in the wild though we are now told they are making a comeback into the UK countryside, and have even been observed near city-centre rivers?

                          Wonderful!

Yes, we get them in these parts. Otters that is.

However I just want to vote for this thread as the best-titled thread on this MB so far this year.

Agreed ... but isn't it a bit insulting to otters?
