A long time ago I saw Mr Madoc with his second wife and Tommy Cooper and his wife. They were at the Maenllwyd Inn, a pub half way along a winding road between Caerphilly and Cardiff on the side of Caerphilly Mountain. We were eating but could hear gales of hilarity blowing from the bar. As always in such situations we did not dive in and interrupt their evening.
