Coutts do nevertheless have a team on hand 24/7, 365-6 days per year, to deal with any banking or credit card queries that I may have.

If it's anything like taxation (although I'm still unclear as to how one would identify the colour of an enquiry about that) - and if I had any queries about that - I would expect to refer them to an accountant, not to a bank.

Obviously, I have not read all the posts, so this might have been covered, but I would nominate the mobile phone for room 101.
A device which could have been used brilliantly for the good of society has been so vastly abused in various ways, that I think that it would be better if they had not been invented.
And, yes! I have got one - and I curse the thing every time I see or hear it!Money can't buy you happiness............but it does bring you a more pleasant form of misery - Spike Milligan
