We are truly off topic, the subject was modern day stuff that drives you mad. Most of mine have been mentioned (automated calls urging claims for PPI, pressing 1 for this and 2 for that and wondering if you will ever speak to a human) but my worst one is txt spk. When I text I spell words correctly, insert punctuation, and if I get a msg in txt spk I cannot be bothered to reply to such garbage.

Wot about weather presenters that stand in the south east corner of the map right where my weather is?
And the ones that are happy to bursting point to tell you that the weekend is going to be xxxx.
" Its been a nice dry week but look at all this rain, hail, wind and frogs this weekend!!
makes me so cross.
