    Nice to see Resurgam listed. Another (longer) work that has a similar effect on me, because of its sturcture, is Asrael by Josef Suk. The final section, where the brass chorale enters, sums up everything that has gone before so well - and the sense of peace is so profound - that it makes the perfect ending.

      Indeed, pabmusic!! I have Kubelik and Mackerrs's reocrdings. Very movin g that part, imo to.

        Probably the best two performances, though Ashkenazy is very good, and Talich is excellent, though old. I think my favourite is Kubelik.
