Pretty unlikely , I would think, for any number of reasons.

I don't know what the production run would be for something like the Strauss box, but a few thousand at most. If the record company has significant overstocks, which would be in the hundreds or low thousands, they'd likely try to shift them through established overstock channels.
They might try to move them through Amazon, but again, not much reason to put them out at £10, when the would probably fly off the shelves at £25, or £30.

Another issue for suppliers is that they frequently get charged for orders out of stock items that Amazon can't supply in a set time frame. Again, not much incentive for the supplier to sell at daft low prices, and set themselves up for out of stock charges.

The complexity of Amazon pricing algorithms, and their supplier marketing programmes, ( and they are not for the unwary) may well have caused the bizarre pricing here.

Incidentally, the only supplier marketing spend that I am aware of at Amazon is cash, usually for a specific activity (EG email to a certain customer group), or extra discount. Never heard of them asking for free stock, or anything like it. They do stock many products on a consignment basis, that is where they take stock into their warehouse at nil cost, and then get invoiced when the product sells. Not sure if this applies to music, it certainly does for books.

I just checked mine and strangely the order has disappeared - the othe CD I ordered at the same time is still there but the R St has disappeared. Very strange.
