That's odd - I have the Webern but none of the rest!

Coincidentally, I played Bantock's Hebridean, Celtic and The Witch Of Atlas today. What a cracking disc that is!

Edit: Playing it again now, and I must say Bantock isn't a patch on the likes of Rubbra, Alwyn, Brian et al

My response to Bantock, too, BeefO: great the first time, less impressive the more I listen to it. Still, as you say, plenty of other repertoire to enjoy.

Think it explains why I've only played it a handful of times in all the years I've owned it. The glorious Hyperion cover art-work is half the allure!!

I was waiting for the Boulez conducts Stravinsky box & VW Symphony 9 on Naxos; they arrived this morning, so they could be cropping up on 'What are you listening to now' soon

I'm trying to get you to stop putting up pictures alone, Beefy. Don't try building your part

I'd like you to stop, if it's all the same with you. Thanks.
