What CD, book, DVD etc are you waiting for?

... hope you enjoyed it : have you been collecting all the other volumes in this series? I calculate that after op 64 there should be two or three further double-CDs (depending on whether they do the Seven Last Words).

I did enjoy it, although the performances could do with a little injection of pace, here and there.

I wanted to collect some of the other volumes (especially for the gorgeous artwork!), but I could not quite justify it on musical or financial terms.

Happily, the Festetics full survey came along at a very low price as a download on Qobuz. I think that I'm out of the market for any more Haydn quartet recordings, unless something very special comes along.

Ordered the huge Szell box from Amazon on Sunday morning at 11:44. It arrived at 17:35 yesterday evening, an impressive turn around of 30 hours.

Can anyone beat that?
