What CD, book, DVD etc are you waiting for?

Have been checking this guy’s music out following the Edgard Varèse immersion day at the Barbican this weekend just gone, and I liked the sample snippets of his string quartets that I listened to on Amazon. So I’ve ordered the CD of his string quartets 1&2. I couldn’t find a good enough quality download, so it has to be CDs this time. Amazon’s downloads are annoyingly lower res.

I pre-ordered the new cd from Isabelle Faust and Melnikov of the Franck violin sonata c/w Chausson's Concert for Violin, Piano and String Quartet. It's released a week Friday so I'm hoping it'll arrive on the release date.

There doesn't seem to be a genuine availability problem. Eg, Presto are offering the Strauss box as "In stock - usually despatched within 1 working day."
