    That is the only reason Prince Charles is listened to, though, isn't it? He isn't brilliant at anything, he isn't beautiful; he has no attribute which would give him public prominence and the opportunity to make his views on various subjects known other than who he is by birth.

      I absolutely agree that it's not the same thing - but then if I had wanted to say that I didn't agree with them I would done so (as I have in the past). Actually, what I meant was that I don't find his ideas very well argued, which isn't quite the same as not being coherent (but I don't think his delivery is very coherent anyway).

        Could you say just how probably, and what would be the majority, 99/1, 51/49, and how intelligent would one need to be for one's views to be considered?

        I have no interest in the man's views on anything at all. If it were not for the nation's media fawning over him and his family his utterances would have no more exposure than yours or mine.
